In this tutorial, I show
In this tutorial, I show you the "slide up" D-chord or the "C-shaped" D-chord as I like to call it. This is a regular D-chord in the Key of G with a different "voicing" (finger positions). This is a great chord to have in your tool bag as it gives the regular ole D-chord a nice ambient sound whether strumming with a pick or finger-picking.
The "bonus" chord in this tutorial is a version of an Em chord. Similar to the "C-shaped D-chord", this chord voicing gives the regular Em a nice ambient sound. Plus you look like you really know what you're doing when you're sliding up and down the fret board :)
