0:00 On Thursday 29 September 2005 a Lxd2 leaves the shed at Krosniewice and runs back through the station before heading to Ostrowy

0:46 At Ostrowy Cukrownia the Lxd2 is shunting empty transporters as the MBxd1 passes on its way from Ostrowy Wask to Krosniewice, after which the loco assembles a very long train of transporters which it takes to Krosniewice for inspection/maintenance

1:46 The train arrives at Krosniewice

3:01 MBxd1 railcar, I think the location is Wolodrza

3:22 The railcar again, departing from Ostrowy Wask

3:42 On the following day two Lxd2s are at Cukrownia Brzesc Kujawski with a couple of empty coal wagons ready to return to Ostrowy and four vans loaded or being loaded with sugar.  The vans are shunted around so hat plates can be welded across the doors, and eventually two trains are assembled

9:10 Almost four hours after we arrived at Brzesc, the two trains set out on the 57 kilometre journey to Krosniewice, where a reversal will be necessary before the final 8km run to Ostrowy.
Leaving the factory there is a steep climb to reach the former passenger station - I believe that this section was only operated by the sugar factory's locomotives, and in the last days of PKP operation I believe coal was transhipped to road lorries for the short run from the station to the factory.  After a break in service of  a couple of years, SKPL revived operations for a few years

14:31 The level crossing over the Wloclawek - Brzesc road was situated close to a bend in the road, with little visibility of the crossing for traffic from Wloclawek, and a side road joining the main road, making life interesting for the crews.  Note the different techniques used by the two crews for negotiating the crossing

Scenes from this video, along with many more, can be seen in higher quality on J & S Productions' DVD "Farewell to the Kujawy".
