I was going to London
I was going to London anyway so decided to make this wee comparison video of two VERY different train journeys between the Scottish and English capitals.
We start with a morning LNER First Class service from Edinburgh Waverley and return the same night with Caledonian Sleeper in their infamous seated carriage.
We have good and bad on both trips but not for the reasons I expected.

Edinburgh Waverley to London Kings Cross
LNER First Class, Coach L, Seat 39
Departs 06:56, Arrives 11:39 (although we arrived shortly after midday)
Price £107.50
London Euston to Edinburgh Waverley
Caledonian Sleeper, Coach A, Seat 01A
Departs 23:50, Arrives 07:30
