In this tutorial, we will teach you how to post a link in twitter. Follow this tutorial to learn how to post links on twitter. We will teach you how to embed a link in a tweet.
Step 1 -- Copy the url
Follow this step by step guide to learn how to post a link in twitter.
First of all, go to your twitter home page and type in the text that you want to tweet. For the purpose of this tutorial, we want to share an article on cyber crime. Now, go to the tab where the article is and select the address of the web page. Right click on it and from the drop down menu, select the copy option.
Step 2 -- Use tiny url
If the link is too big, you can always use tinyurl.com to shrink the address of the web page. Right click where it says "enter a long url to make tiny" and select the paste option. Once the link has been pasted, click on the make tinyurl button.
Step 3 -- Copy the new link
As a result, a tiny url will be created. Right click on it and select the copy option.
Step 4 -- Paste the link
Now go back to your twitter page and right click where you have written the text for the tweet. From the drop down menu, select the paste option in order to paste the link of the article that you want to share. Once you are done, click on the tweet button in order to tweet the link. You can click on the url embedded in your tweet and the article will open up in a new tab.
In this manner, you can post links on twitter.
