Repotting and pruning are the two main maintenance operations that are required by any Bonsai. In this video I am covering Jade plant Bonsai repotting and pruning. Crassula ovata, better known as the Jade plant, is a much loved succulent and one of the most common house plants. It is also one of the go-to species for many beginner bonsai enthusiasts. General Jade plant maintenance is simple as it is an easy plant to care for. This video discusses several aspects relevant for growing the species and covers the operations of pruning and repotting jade bonsai on two specimens. One is a little jade bonsai of the gollum variety while the other will probably end up as a bigger jade bonsai since it is of the common Crassula ovata variety.
