PM heckled by GP over the state of the NHS | General Election 2024

Rishi Sunak came under fire from an unemployed GP during a campaign event in Wiltshire.

The woman told the prime minister the NHS was "disintegrating" and "less qualified people were used for consultations".

As Mr Sunak went to answer the question, someone who appeared to be a Conservative supporter said: "Most GPs spend more time on holiday than in the surgery, love."

Mr Sunak said he "respectfully disagreed" with the voter's assessment of the state of the NHS.
