This is my review of all 5 dolls in the Ever After High Birthday Ball line: Blondie Lockes, Duchess Swan, CA Cupid, Cedar Wood, and Rosabella Beauty. For my other Ever After High doll reviews:

I bought Cedar Wood and Rosabella Beauty from the Birthday Ball line way back in January 2016, when they first came out. For some reason, I never opened them and so when I got the 3 budget dolls from Amazon yesterday, I decided it would be a good time to take them all out and review them for you.
Cedar Wood and Rosabella Beauty each cost $19.99 from Target (at the time I bought them). They also both have a very sweet scent that despite 4 months having gone by, has not faded one iota. Cedar Wood smells like an orange pastry, while Rosabella Beauty smells like a sugar cookie. Both are synthetic scents, and kind of make my nose hurt. What's nice about both of these dolls is that they each come with stands and combs. I never thought I'd miss those stands, but now I really, really do!
Duchess Swan, CA Cupid, and Blondie Lockes are the "budget" dolls in this line. I bought them from Amazon.com for $14.99 each, and they do NOT come with stands or combs.
All of the dolls in this line come with accessories in the form of "birthday presents" that look like purses. Rosabella's is the only one without the open bottom and it also opens up, so hers is my favorite accessory.
All of the dolls are dressed in a "rococo" or "baroque" style. Lots of elaborate ornamentation and scrollwork on the shoes, dresses, neckpieces, etc. Each doll wears a fascinator: Duchess wears a high feather and a brooch and a bow, Blondie wears a feather and tiara and 3 bows, Cedar wears a bow adorned with a twig and acorns, Rosabella wears a headband adorned with macarons, and Cupid wears a bow adorned with an arrow-pierced heart.
None of the dolls have earrings or rings or bracelets or leggings. All of the dolls wear necklaces - Cedar and Rosabella's neckpieces are painted in a second color. All of the dolls have fancy shoes with scrollwork, bows, and ruffle ornamentation.
Each doll's hair is also in a different color than their norm, based upon the secondary color in their palette. For example, Cedar's palette is coral and lavender, so her hair is coral. Duchess' palette is black, white, and lavender, so her hair is lavender. Rosabella's palette contains yellow and brown, so her hair is yellow. And so on and so forth.
Here are my favorites in this line:
Favorite faceup: Blondie Lockes. I am surprised to say this, because Blondie is almost never my favorite in any line, but she looks fresh-faced, innocent, and sweetly pretty with her blue hair and poofy bangs. CA Cupid, however, is a close 2nd. She looks so glamorous and old Hollywood with her light pink hair.
Favorite dress: Cedar Wood's. It seems the most finished and complete.
Favorite shoes: Tie between Blondie and Cedar.
Favorite accessory: Rosabella's. I like that it opens and doesn't have the false bottom.
