New Shrimp tank + Redclaw crayfish update in Aquaponic systems

This is the new addition to the Aquaponic system in Tones' Backyard.  It has a standard IBC as a second tank to the fish and Red claw tank with an extra grow bed added as well.  The two tanks are joined via a connecting hose.

The aim of this set up is to be able to grow shrimp in a separate tank to the fish and provide food for the shrimp by growing algae in their tank from the sun.

There were a few deaths of fish and crayfish a few months ago due to low water pH, however since the pH problems in the system have been corrected ,the red claw crayfish and fish have been thriving.  

The red claw is this video is a large female.  She is approximately 5 inches or 13cm in length.
