Energy. The word pops in
Energy. The word pops in the game all the time, but do you know, it all works? What you probably already know now is that your characters need it to activate their bursts. But how to have bursts up all the time? How to have 100% uptime? In this video, I'm going to show you how.
Of course there is tons more to that. First we are going to look at how energy works, how to get it, what are elemental particles and orbs as well as how much energy do they recharge.
Speaking of, let us not forget about Energy Recharge. We will get to that as well.

How to get energy? There are multiple ways on obtaining energy, but first, you must do one important thing.
Get into combat.
Elemental Particles spawn when you lower enemy HP below certain treholds. Smaller, fodder enemies, have that treshold at 60% and 0%. Bigger enemies, such as big slimes, geovishaps, and fatui agents have three tresholds, at 66%, 33% and 0%. The most elite enemies, like ruin machines and abyss mages have four thresholds, at 75%, 50%, 25% and 0%.
Next most reliable way of obtaining particles is by using skills. Most of the skill spawn some after hitting an enemy.
The less reliable way is getting crits with weapons from Favonius weapon set.
Other means of getting energy include character talents and constelations, as well as artifact set bonuses.
The most important thing about all of this is a term Battery, and what does it mean, when a character is Battery. But we will get to it.

What is energy recharge?
Energy recharge (ER) is basically a multiplier. All of our characters start with 100% ER. Base amount of energy obtained for a white, neutral particle is 2. If our characters have more ER, they get more energy. In this example, if they had 200% ER, they would get 4 energy from a single, white particle, effectively making them get their burst back twice as fast.
