Nipton Exploration and Side Quests Nipton is the next stop in our main quest called "They Went That-a-Way". I learn why the town is smoldering, and I encounter Caesar's Legion (but I don't fight them). I happen to find all the components I need to fix Ed-E, Mr. Nash's robot back in Primm, so I travel back there to activate the robot. He's now my companion and will fight alongside me. We go back to Nipton and prepare to enter its town hall.
