Based on the play of the same name by A.P. Chekhov. Guests come to the estate of Peter Sorin - his sister Irina Arkadina (actress) with her beloved Boris Trigorin, a famous fiction writer. Irina's son, Konstantin Treplev, lives with Sorin. Treplev, fascinated by literature and theater, composed a play that will soon be staged at his uncle's estate. Nina Zarechnaya will play the main role in this production. Her parents do not approve of her daughter's hobby for theatrical art, but the girl dreams only of the stage. Konstantin Treplev loves the young actress and therefore creates a real theater for her on the estate, in which the fates of many people are intertwined.
