The T&T Senior Women cricketers
The T&T Senior Women cricketers rallied to another close finish today against the Windward Islands women in their CG Insurance Super 50 match-up.
Batting first at Basseterre, the Windwards were piloted by an even 50 from Afy Fletcher. She was aided by Qiana Joseph who scored 29. They finished their innings on 150 all out from 44.3 overs. Karishma Ramharack picked 3 wickets for 24 runs and Shalini Samaroo 2 for 24.
T&T women received a better start of 58 before the fall of their first wicket. However, the batting wobble continued. From 58 for 1 to 115 for 7, T&T were staring down the barrel. Reniece Boyce steered the innings among the falling wickets scoring 53. In the end, Karishma Ramharack and Samara Ramnath took them over the line - 152 for 8, T&T winning by 2 wickets.
