Pro Surfer Mikala Jones Dead at 44

Pro Surfer Mikala Jones has died. Jones was known as a pioneer in creating point-of-view surfing content. His GoPro videos gave surfers and non-surfers alike the feeling of riding the waves. The fatal accident reportedly happened while Jones was surfing in the Mentawai Islands of Indonesia. The surfer, who grew up on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, is survived by his wife and three children. Mikala Jones was 44 years old.
