Köln (Cologne) Carnival 2018 in Cologne, Germany – enjoy Part 1

The Köln or Cologne Carnival takes place every year on RoseMontag day in Cologne, Germany. Cologne Carnival in Cologne is almost as old as the history of the city itself. This 6.5 kilometer carnival parade began on Monday 12th February 2018 at the Severinstor in the southern part of the city (Südstadt). This carnival is a colourful spectacle with thousands of people in fancy dress assembling to enjoy together. Kamelle (sweets) and Alaaf (long live cologne) two words will be spoken and heard by the crowd. Chocolates, sweets, bunch of flowers and countless other small gifts are thrown from the floats for children and for everybody.
