The most heartbreaking and gruesome recent incident at an amusement park in Australia and perhaps the world took place in 2016 in the Town of Gold Rush section of the Dreamworld theme park in Queensland, Australia.
The incident was horrific beyond imagination; the bodies of the victims were disfigured so badly, some of the emergency crews who were involved had to get counseling. Even some of the staff who were exposed to the bodies launched a lawsuit against the park because they simply could not cope with what they saw on that sad day. 4 people were killed in the tragedy and miraculously 2 children escaped with only minor injuries. The last time Australians experienced such a sad terrifying incident of such
scale was the 1979 Sydney Ghost Train fire at Luna Park in Sydney.
