Whenever I see criticism for the Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss, usually the criticisms revolve around not liking the protagonist. Kvothe is a fairly polarizing character, many love him while others claim he's too much of a 'Mary Sue'. Today I'll be doing a deep dive on this character to examine if he is indeed a Mary Sue.
