the best diy aquarium lids you'll ever make
so recently I found black mould on the skirting boards, and I knew my fishtanks were to blame. having open top aquariums with pathos and mangrove tress sticking out, had caused the humidity to escalate, causing the start of mildew in a new previously damp free new build!
I had no choice but to remove the plants as make some lids, otherwise it was GAMEOVER for the fish room office.
the twin wall polycarbon sheet cost £71 and the tape and draught excluder probably another £10 money well spent if it helps me reduce the moisture in the air it was enough to make lids for 3 x 300lt and 4 x 50lt with a bit spare to cover the bow front aqua 500
easy to make for the beginner aquarist!
