Studying the European Union with a perspective from overseas | Clarissa Dias Nascimento

With CIFE's Master in Applied European Policy and Governance Studies (EUGOV), students live and learn in three different locations: Nice (France), Canterbury (UK), and Berlin (Germany). Students come from all European countries and way beyond. Each year, we welcome between 10 to 15 different nationalities within one group, some of them joining from as far as Brazil: Clarissa shares her study experience and tells us what motivated her to study the EU from a European perspective. And what she and other overseas students contribute as important perpectives to the group debate. The special feature of this Master is its interdisciplinary and intercultural approach. It prepares students for future careers in the European institutions and international organisations. Classes are held in two of the EU's working languages (English and French) together with a trilingual German option, thus creating a multilingual and multicultural environment.
