Former US President Donald Trump has threatened to blow Iran to smithereens if it tries to assassinate him or any other US presidential hopeful. This comes a day after American intelligence officials briefed him about "real and specific" threats to his life from Tehran. During a campaign rally in North Carolina, Trump also questioned why the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, was protected by law enforcement officers when he visited New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly this week. Trump has already survived two assassination attempts in the past two months- one in July and another in September.
