OLD SCHOOL PLUM JELLY

I grew up eating more of this type of jelly than any other jelly
Plum jelly is very good on a hot biscuit or toast

This is the way my mom made her jelly and im going to share this with y'all
Making jelly and jams are so very simple and cost effective too

RECIPE
4# large plums(seeded and cut in half or quartered)
4 cups granulated sugar
4 cups pineapple juice
3 packs  pectin or sure jell

Add plums and pineapple juice to large pot
Bring to boil and smash plums if needed in cooking process
cook until completely soft
Stain plums and add juice back to heat
Bring back to boil and add sugar
Bring to boil and add pectin
Bring to boil and let simmer for 2 minutes

Remove from heat and add to sterilize jars and complete proper canning process
It take 24-48 hours for jelly to completely set up
Let sit 2 weeks and enjoy(my preference)
