The housing of the pressure vessel is usually formed by a pressure vessel plate or a low-alloy steel coil and is welded by a ring seam. Quality requirements for welded joints: After carbon steel pressure vessel ring seam welding, 100% ray illumination inspection is required. After the stress relief treatment of the welded joint, the mechanical properties are not lower than the lower limit specified by the parent metal standard; the low alloy steel pressure vessel is subjected to 100% radiographic inspection + 25% ultrasonic inspection after circumferential seam welding.
The normal temperature, high temperature or low temperature mechanical properties of the welded joint after heat treatment after welding shall not be lower than the requirements of the corresponding manufacturing regulations, or not lower than the lower limit specified in the parent metal standard. In order to improve the thermal cracking resistance and corrosion resistance of the weld, special attention should be paid to the cleaning of the weld zone during welding to avoid the penetration of harmful elements into the weld.
