12 Bore Flintlock Frontier Effectiveness

This is a historical documentary video. In it we will load and fire a flintlock musket using the documented techniques of frontier settlers during the 18th century.

Using these historical techniques, we will determine how versatile and effective a smooth bore musket was on the 18th century frontier.

I’ll attempt to demonstrate the effective ranges for weapons of this type for both hunting and for fighting,
