As a three time Maserati
As a three time Maserati Quattroporte owner myself, I've had my share of experience from living with both DuoSelect (''F1 transmission'') and ZF models...
After doing so there is absolutely no question in my mind that the facelifted ZF transmission models from around 2008-2013 are the ones to go for if you are in the market for a QP, either in 4.2 or 4.7 litre forms. From superior reliability to more appropriate driving manners for an executive performance car, the ZF simply makes more sense and feels like a more well rounded machine...So let's review the facelift ZF model Maserati Quattroporte!
