Will Hot Tub Water Kill The Grass?

Will your hot tub water kill the grass?  Have you ever wondered if you can drain your hot tub right on the lawn?  In this short video Jacque the hot tub lady will discuss if you can actually drain your hot tub onto the grass.  In regular hot tub maintenance, you do need to drain your hot tub water, but where? You should not drain your hot tub water into a lake or a body of water where animals live.  Believe it or not you can just drain the hot tub right into the lawn.  You will want to make sure your hot tub water is relatively balanced.  You want your pH above 7.0 your hot tub alkalinity at least 40ppm and your chlorine below a 6 ppm.  It is safe to drain your saltwater hot tub onto your yard as well.  Water the grass and let it go.  The Hot Tub Lady can be found at Hot Spring Spas of Sioux Falls.
