Sangonk Zata Zobor Melroy (Bab Peter, Tatum)

‘Sangonk Zata Zobor’ from my album ‘Omor Mogachi Kanni’ was originally sung by my dad Bab Peter in 1965 when he was 12 years old and written by my granddad Domnic D’Souza. I wanted a young artiste who would help me recreate the magic of this classic. The reason I’ve made this video today is to introduce you to this 22 year old singer from Bombay, Melroy Fernandes who not only is a powerhouse of talent but also loves his Konkani, goes out of his way to promote it and believes with all his heart that ‘Konkani is Kool’. Hope we find a lot more youngsters like him as we continue on this journey. God bless
