Discovering the user interface | Surge XT Unseen #1

Synthesizers are a crucial part of modern music production. No matter if its pop, R&B or hybrid orchestral music, synths are everywhere. But unfortunately blind and visually impaired people always had to resort to either good old hardware synthesizers to do the job, or browse through literally thousands of patches accessible through means like Komplete Kontrol without being able to change the sound any further than the most obvious things like reverb, attack, release and so on. Things are going to change though, since now we've got Surge XT, which isn't just incredibly accessible, but free and open source as well. This is the introduction to a longer video series where I guide you through the usage of Surge XT, producing some cool sounds while we're at it.
