Winters are right around the corner and the most commonly faced problem in this season is dryness of skin or jild ki khushki. Due to the decrease of humidity within the atmosphere around us, we are more prone to lose water content from our bodies. On the other hand, we consume water in less quantity during the winter season. Altogether these factors lead to dehydration which eventually results in dryness of the skin.
The use of heaters and hot water is observed during the entire winter season which further adds to dehydration and skin dryness. It is wise to increase water intake and use lukewarm water for washing or showering. Skin moisturization plays a key role in ruling out skin dryness because the use of good quality moisture is the most important factor in controlling and getting rid of dry skin.
