Bill Russell ran all 5 positions on offense

A little known fact about the often misunderstood Bill Russell. He could, and did learn/run every position on his teams offense. His "low" fg% for a big man was perhaps because (offensively) he did not just camp in the paint and use pivot-plays to score. He ran the floor, he passed, he shot long hooks and jumpers. Most importantly he played balanced within his teams offensive system. His fg% reflected his TEAMS fg%. Perhaps by design, shutting him, or any of his other teammates down, would NOT ensure the Celtics would lose.
