In this episode, we're going to take a closer look at the role of a Salesforce Administrator and what they do on a daily basis.

KEY DUTIES:
1. System Configuration - Salesforce Administrators are responsible for configuring and customising Salesforce to meet the specific needs of their organisation. This includes creating and managing custom objects, fields, and workflows, setting up security permissions, and defining data validation rules.

2. User Management - Salesforce Administrators manage user accounts, profiles, and permissions, ensuring that each user has the appropriate access to the data and functionalities they need to perform their job duties. They also onboard new users and provide training and support to ensure they are proficient in using Salesforce.

3. Data Management - Salesforce Administrators are responsible for managing the data within Salesforce, including importing, exporting, and cleaning up data. They also create and manage reports and dashboards to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.

4. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution - Salesforce Administrators are the go-to person for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that users may encounter with Salesforce. This includes identifying and resolving technical issues, investigating data discrepancies, and providing timely support to ensure smooth operations.

5. System Upgrades and Enhancements - Salesforce Administrators stay up-to-date with new Salesforce releases (x3 salesforce releases/upgrades per year!) and evaluate and implement new features and functionalities that can benefit an organisation. They also work closely with other stakeholders, such as developers and business analysts, to implement customisations and integrations.
