Sig P250 - 22 LR Variant - Hard to find!

ko-fi.com/shazarad The fates have deigned to give me another chance at the P250! A long time ago, I was on the search for my first polymer framed pistol and I chanced across the P250. I really enjoyed it and so opted to buy it the next day. The next day, someone from the very base I was stationed at had bought it right before I did! I was distraught but ended up buying a P320 instead.
Now years later (and 2 more P250s) I come back to this very same base and gun shop to come across the only P250 I have been looking for since I got the other P250s. The P250 in 22 LR. Naturally I bought this one without hesitation as I would not be denied again. Considering as well that the P250 has been discontinued now for a year or two, and the 22 LR model even longer, this could only be fate. Who would think in a little town such as San Angelo Texas that they would have not one, but two of the very pistol I have been searching for for years.
Needless to say I am quite happy to have this now. It shoots and feels like any other P250 just in 22. No issues not related to horrible ammo. Winchester 22 LR continues to be some of the worst 22 ammo I have ever used. Best groups with my rusty hands was 2.5 inches at 15 yards. Given the current situation with ammo supply, I'll take what I can get. I look forward to taking this back home and getting some proper ammo through it and maybe some target sights for it as well.
Overall, I really do enjoy the P250 series and feel they are a more quality gun than the P320s are. As anyone knows, I have a thing for 22s as well so I am very happy I was able to get my hands on this set up as it is next to impossible to find online. I can only hope Sig comes out with a 22 LR version of the P320.
