Microsoft has released a Teams
Microsoft has released a Teams meetings update that allows meeting participants to upload their own personal backgrounds. Teams is known for the popular blurry background effect and soon added pre-installed backgrounds. Now Teams allow custom backgrounds to be added easily.
To add a customized background while in a meeting, click "More Actions" then "Show Background Effects". Background effects are only available for scheduled meetings according to Microsoft, but I was able to use backgrounds during a Meet Now meeting.
Prior to this update, you could add your own virtual background in Teams but it was a workaround. I even have a video on it. This update allows you to add your own virtual background directly in Teams.
Steps to add a custom background

1) Start or Join a Teams Meeting
2) Click More Actions
3) Click Show Background Effects
4) Find a background and click Open
5) Select the Background and click Apply
To preview the image and see how your background looks before others can see your background click Preview.
