This town, situated on the Budhi Gandak river, was earlier a part of Darbhanga district which came out of Darbhanga in 1972 and came into existence as a new district. 1-#MannipurTemple
Manipur Devi place is no less important than any back seat in Samastipur district. This temple is located in Manipur in Warisarnagar block, three kilometers from the district headquarters. So every day hundreds of devotees reach here, but Navratri attracts a special crowd. Especially on Saptami, Ashtami and Navami. Talking about the attraction of this temple, the sanctum has a grand statue of Mother which is very attractive. The temple is colored red by acceleration, on which adorable figures have been made. There is a completely natural environment in front. There is a pond in the pass and trees are planted near the temple.
2-#Vidyapati Dham,
Vidyapati Dham campus of Vidyapati Nagar Block is a place where both God and devotees are worshiped. You can visit the Udna Mahadev Temple in Vidyapati Dham, Vidyapati Memorial, etc. According to the mythological stories, Lord Shiva was pleased with the devotion of Mahakavi Vidyapati as a servant named 'Ugna'. Over a period of time, when Unga suddenly disappeared, Vidyapati reached Vidyapati Dham in search of him. It is said that Mother Ganga was also impressed by the devotion of the great poet and appeared to him. Mahakavi gave up his body after seeing the Ganges, since then Vidyapati Dham of Samastipur is famous. The festival has been organized here in the name of Mahakavi for a long time. Which was given the status of state festival by the state government in the year 2013. Since then, this program is celebrated continuously every year.

A three-day fair is organized at this place which is visited by people from far and wide. Apart from this you can visit Mangalgarh which is located near Dudhpara in Hasanpur block of Samastipur. Here Lord Buddha preached for Buddhism and stayed here for a few days at the insistence of King Mangaldev.
