I have a bunch of scrap soft maple and walnut from previous projects that were perfect for making small keepsake boxes. I made a variety of them and filmed making this variation. I love the simplicity of this box, the size, the slight elevation provided by the bottom panel, and the thin lid. Overall, I'm pleased with how they turned out!
