How to Change the Order of an Instagram Photo Carousel After Posting:
1. Tap the three dots in the top right corner of your posted carousel.
2. Decide which slide you want as the cover picture, and delete any photos before it by tapping the trash icon in the top left corner of the photo. Your carousel must have at least two pictures in it at all times, so be careful not to delete too many.
3. Once you save the post, tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner of your Instagram profile. Then, navigate to Settings, then to Account, and then to Recently Deleted.
4. Tap on and restore your photos in the order you want them to show up in your carousel, as each photo will be restored to the end of the carousel.
