[50년의 여정, 그리고 다시 시작]
디자이너로 활동했던 50년의 여정에서, 중점을 두었던 ‘사회적 메시지를 전달하는 디자이너'로서의 작품과 다시 시작하는 디자이너로서의 작품을 선보이는 컬렉션
1970년대 맞춤복 시대의 디자인, 1980년대 백화점 마켓을 위한 기성복의 디자인, 1990년대 해외 진출을 위한 디자인, 2000년대, 친환경 디자인, 2010년대 미술작품과의 협업, 2020년대 화가로 등단하면서 자신의 그림을 패션 디자인으로 구현하는 작업들을 시도해왔다. 산업과 디자인 트렌드는 시대마다 바뀌었고, 디자이너로서 변화하는 환경에 적응하고 진화하면서 50년을 활동해왔다. 이제 그 50년의 여정과 다시 시작하는 작품들을 컬렉션으로 선보이고자 한다.
This season, CHOIBOKO presents the collection as a designer who has been delivering social messages for 50 years, and the collection as the herald of the beginning of a new journey.
Designer CHOIBOKO began his career in the 1970s in the era of couture clothing, followed by ready-to-wear for department stores in the 1980s, ready-to-wear for overseas expansion in the 1990s, eco-friendly design in the 2000s, collaboration with painters in the 2010s, and as a painter himself in the 2020s, he has constantly changed and expanded his creative field in line with the zeitgeist. Now we would like to present this collection as a celebration of a 50-year journey and a new beginning.
