Import risk assessment - Dr Melissa McLaws

Against the framework of the Safe Trade and FMD control Virtual workshop carried out in March 2021 in partnership with the OIE, it was shown how the importation of animals and animal products comes with an inherent risk of introducing a pathogenic agent to the country. In this presentation, Dr Melissa McLaws introduces the OIE risk assessment framework that is used to characterize this risk.
