Introduction to Isshin ryu

Isshin-ryu karate is considered a treasure of the martial arts.  It represents karate before the art was commercialized, homogenized, packaged and sold for general consumption.  This powerful style is well suited for the serious martial artist.  In this video, Chris Thomas demonstrates the Jugo Kihon-waza, a set of 15 foundational techniques (sometimes called the Upper Body Exercises).
