This is Windows 7 build
This is Windows 7 build 6730 Business (6730.1.winmain.080612-1840) in VMware Workstation Pro. This is a Milestone 3 buid which was originally shared on 26 April 2011 as a WIM file. This build was compiled on 2008-06-12 and expires on 2008-10-03.
How I got this to run:
VMware Workstation Pro 16.2.3 with these settings:
Backwards compatibility with VMware Workstation 10.
OS set to Windows Vista.
RAM: 2 GB
Hard Disk: 40 GB SCSI.
1 CPU Core.
3D Acceleration enabled
Drivers: VMware Tools 11.0 WDDM for video and 7.0 for VMCI (System Devices). Audio should work without drivers, but if needed try the 7.0 driver.
Note: Aero does work in this build but it crashes very easily hence why you do not see it in the majority of the video.
Now to apply the WIM to the virtual disk, either mount it to the host or you can add it to a VM to be on the safe side like I did, then use gimagex to apply the WIM. To make the build bootable, you must use diskpart in cmd run as an administrator and select the disk and partition, then enter "active" after the partition is selected.
