AOL Help contains an extensive self-help library for AOL members and non-members. If you need help with an AOL product or service, an AOL or Huffington Post website, or even general computer help, simply visit help.aol.com.
This is the AOL Help search bar. Just enter a topic or question you need help with and click Search Help.
AOL Help will then generate a list of Help articles that contain key words or answers to the question you searched for.
Scan through the article titles and summaries and then click on the article title that is most applicable to your query.
Your selected article will then appear.
If you ever need to navigate back to the help.aol.com homepage just click on the AOL Help logo found in the top left corner across all of the AOL Help website.
Another great feature of AOL Help is the carousel. Cycle through our most popular topics, products and services by clicking on the arrows at either side of the carousel. If you find something here that piques your interest, click its logo to jump to its respective help page.
For now, I'll select McAfee.
On the McAfee help page, you'll see Help Topics - these neatly organize all of our help content related to McAfee. Then there are Video tutorials - click to view instructional or informational video content. In the middle are Popular Help Articles - click any of these to view, and lastly there's Community Support.
Clicking a topic takes you to a page with help articles sorted by subtopic.
Simply click a subtopic to expand or collapse a list of relevant articles.
If any of the displayed help articles are of interest to you, click its link to access it.
Now let's jump back a moment -- If you'd like to view a complete list of AOL's Help topics, products and services, click Help A-Z.
Here select the topic, product or service you need help with. For this demonstration, I'll pick AOL Desktop Software.
Some AOL products, such as AIM or the AOL Desktop Software, may have multiple versions, so we'll offer you a list to choose from to access the most relevant help content.
I'm going to choose AOL Desktop 9.7, AOL's most current version, to view all help content related to AOL Desktop 9.7.
And just like the McAfee help page we saw before, you can view Topics, Video Tutorials, Popular Articles and Community Support.
If at any time you're having difficulty finding the help you're looking for, you can always use AOL Help's Community Support. We've created this section to allow users like you to post questions about any problems you're having, whether it be with an AOL product, service, or website.
And that covers it -- you should now have a better understanding of the main functions of AOL Help.
