The Cattle Story

Made by the National Film Board 1955. Directed by Richard Mason. This account of the cattle industry in northern Australia includes such aspects as mustering, dipping and droving, together with some description of a typical outback station. Old and new methods of transporting beef from inland to the coast of Australia are shown. The work of the stockmen and drovers who muster cattle for the round up is illustrated.
