Why the Xbox One Will Never Be Modded

Xbox One is no longer Microsoft's flagship console, it's been "last gen" for a little while now. Yet I do not see a mod coming out anytime soon... or ever for the Xbox One.

With everything Microsoft did to introduce developer mode to the masses, and constantly force updates upon the system, it seems very unlikely that the system will ever truly be modded. We won't have online mods messing with players on Live and we won't have backup games ever running on real hardware.
