This strat NO LONGER WORKS! I am keeping the video up to get you guys thinking about how to overcome future raid mechanics!
Footage is from our first 10man Blood Queen Lana'thel kill. It is sped up to around 120% for a more appropriate length. We did kill the 25 man version as well on the first day but the fight is exactly the same. In the video I go over strategy for the boss, which initially worked on both 10 and 25 man, but was nerfed within a few days.
In response to this strategy, blizzard increased the duration of the embrace so that it lines up a little better with the enrage timer. Killing off a raid member will not be beneficial and you should just try the encounter without the gimmik. The fight is greatly nerfed with the new hotfix.
