Whether it's an Adventure Kings one or another brand they seem to struggle when it comes to getting any good airflow into the fire. This one little mod should fix the problem and get that fire roaring like it should and burn efficiently so you don't get choked out by smoke! The fire pit I used for this was my old Adventure Kings model from 4WD Supacentre, not a bad unit by any stretch but it definitely could have had a bit more planning on the design.
