In this tutorial I’ll show you how to turn your landscape photo into a 4x5 portrait picture for Instagram without cropping using Photoshop.
I'll show you how to use the content aware scale tool in Photoshop to resize your images by adding new parts to the photo to match and extend the background. After watching this you’ll be to turn pretty much any photo from a landscape one to a portrait without cropping.
As Instagram gives Landscape photos much less space on the feed than 4x5 portraits this is a great technique to use before posting your Instagram photos. It is also just a great way to expand the size of any photo you have.
