European Economic Area law called Digital Markets Act (DMA) will come into force on March 6th, 2024. Which means users should be able to uninstall any software, app, or services from their devices that they don't want. As it's an European Union law, it's possible that Microsoft wouldn't allow people from other regions to uninstall these apps. Nevertheless, it can make it too complicated for Microsoft to develop & maintain the various versions of Windows. So, hopefully, later everyone would be able to uninstall the apps that they don't use. Just like Apple was forced to change its lightning port to a USB-C port because of the European Union law.

So, to be able to uninstall these apps, make sure your Window is at least updated to 22H2 for Windows 10 & 23H2 for Windows 11. Then, follow the steps above to see which one of these apps you could uninstall (Microsoft Edge, Photos App, Cortana & Bing). In the UK as of now, I was able to uninstall Cortana & Camera but wasn't able to uninstall Microsoft Edge or Photos App. Please mention in the comments, which apps you're able to uninstall & your country/region?
