Free the gnomes and tieflings
Free the gnomes and tieflings at the same time, no combat or spells required. This walkthrough guide will show you how to rescue all the prisoners from the depths of Moonrise Towers in one playthrough. Under Moonrise Towers is the prison where you need to rescue the tieflings and gnomes where Wulbren Bongle and Lia are kept. Saving both the tieflings and gnomes will unlock the Under Lock and Key Trophy Achievement for Baldur's Gate 3.
You can use a strength or vigorous vaulting potion or spell. Use a slashing weapon on the chains to free the boat and a bludgeoning weapon to bash the walls. There are a few ways to tackle this area. If you having trouble with the guards catching up, you can cast a spell to lock the cell doors first. If your having trouble sneaking your way up the middle area to get the Walbren's hammer, any bludgeoning weapon will work with your characters to use instead.
This guide involves no fighting and how to save all the prisoners with no one dying. When making a run for the boat, once one of the Gnomes catches up, skip through his dialogue selecting the first option to all board the boat to Last Light Inn. Do not return to the prison straight away, or the guards may still be hostile. Did this run a few times and there is a chance they may still be hostile, but only the prison area if they were aggro.
