Extreme cold breaks records across western Montana

WEATHER ALERT DAY: Extreme cold will remain in the forecast through Monday.

Historic cold was observed this morning across western Montana. Kalispell, Butte, Dillon and Bozeman were a few spots that recorded record lows.

In Dillon the low of 42 degrees below zero, broke that all-time low temperature record. The old all-time record low temperature was -37 set on December 24th, 1983.
