How to turn off two-factor authentication on your Apple ID

Did you get a new iPad or iPhone and accidentally (or intentionally) turned on two-factor authentication and decided you want to turn it off? Officially, Apple does NOT ALLOW YOU TO TURN IT OFF.

Fortunately, I have found a loophole around this. You have to pretend your account was compromised and reset your account before two-factor was turned on.


The email I received with the link was a unique URL - but the main address is https://iforgot.apple.com
