Here you see: Aerial platform Fire Brigade Schiedam 17-0451 waits for minutes for cars that block the street when there is a medical call. The aerial platform could not enter the street because there were vehicles blocking the passage, the vehicles first had to back out of the street after which the fire brigade arrived minutes later at the address of the emergency. One person had to be rushed to the hospital and evacuated horizontally from the home using the aerial platform. The engine 17-0631 from Kazerne Baan also arrived urgently on site to assist. Thanks to the action of the fire brigade, the ambulance was able to quickly leave for the hospital.
