The Collapse of Fantage

Making this video has unlocked so much nostalgia for me. I used to literally spend every day on Fantage, no joke, and yes, I have paid some hundred dollars into for the in-game purchases. It’s such a bittersweet game though. As much as I had so much fun throughout the years, it also did become a pay-to-win where items were essential to your identity. I hated it, but fell into the culture trap anyways.

HUGE shoutout to Dilly Tante for all of the research done in their article (https://fantagediscord.wordpress.com/.... Their article allowed me to tell the story of Fantage as accurate as possible and I’m amazed at their dedication.

A lot of the b-roll (besides the personal photos) are taken from some fantagians online. This is just for documentary purposes and obviously, all rights belong to the respective owners. This video was literally built on all the videos so thank you!
